Mr. Elwell advises wealthy individuals and families inside and outside the United States regarding income, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxation. He advises closely held corporations, partnerships and other business entities regarding business succession planning and also advises public charities and private foundations regarding planned charitable giving.

Mr. Elwell is a 2001 magna cum laude graduate of Temple University School of Law, where he was a member of the Temple Law Review. He is a graduate of Temple University Fox School of Business and Management (M.B.A.) and a graduate of the University of Maryland (B.S.).
