Dave Brown's practice encompasses all facets of estate planning and wealth preservation planning as well as trust and estate administration and includes the creation of wills and trusts with various measures to ensure that a client's intentions are met while minimizing all forms of death taxes. Dave also focuses on asset protection planning, planning for business interests including family owned businesses, and all areas of charitable planning including direct charitable giving, the creation of charitable lead and remainder trusts and the creation and administration of private charitable foundations.

As part of his practice, Dave routinely prepares grantor retained annuity trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, insurance trusts, charitable trusts, dynasty trusts and other estate planning documents which contemplate the effect of taxes including the generation-skipping transfer tax.

Dave graduated from of Ursinus College with majors in Politics and History. He received his Juris Doctor and an LL.M. in tax law from the University of Miami School of Law. Dave received a prestigious Harvey T. Reid Scholarship to attend the University of Miami School of Law which awarded him full tuition for both law school and the LL.M. program. At Ursinus, Dave currently serves on the Planned Giving Committee and as an Ursinus College Law Alumni Group Mentor.

Dave is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Florida and New Jersey. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, Florida, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Montgomery Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council.
