David Elwell's practice focuses on domestic and international tax and wealth transfer planning. He advises individuals and families, inside and outside the United States, regarding income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxation, including tax planning incident to immigration to the United States. He also advises owners of closely-held businesses regarding income and transfer tax planning, as well as private foundations regarding tax compliance matters.
David was named a Philadelphia Magazine Rising Star in trust and estate law in 2010.
